Manufacturing of BZ-38 was launched in 1938. This refuel truck was the main transport and refueling machine of Air Forces RKKA. The tank in volume of 1350 liters had mounted on the chassis of the automobile GAZ-AAA. BZ-38 was widely used during the World War II.
