This figures set shows Roman Imperial legion-aries, typical for the period from I B.C. to II A.D. The infantrymen are clothed in lamellar armour (lorica segmentata), armed with javelins - Pila and double-edged swords - Gladiuses. With this set a testudo (tortoise) formation can be created.
