This model has decals for Infantry Division Grofldeutschland on the Eastern Front in 1942. It was rebuilt from the totally destroyed infantry regiment of the same name and equipped with some of the newest and best Panzer IV tanks available to Germany. They used the Panzer IV–the quintessential German tank–in their attempt to “kick in the door” of Russia for Hitler. Both failed.
