For sixty years VFA-102 "Diamondbacks" have flown America's aircraft in defense of American interests. They have been deployed to the Atlantic, Mediterranean, and currently home base in the Pacific. Though designed in 1995, the F/A-18F Super Hornets the Diamondbacks fly are still some of the most reliable and effective aircraft in the US arsenal. They incorporate a 20mm cannon and hardpoints for several air-to-air and air-to-ground munitions.
