IBG-72014Used commonly by the British and Commonwealth forces on all fronts throughout WWII. The Canadian Military Pattern (CMP) truck was also sent to the Soviet Union as part of Canada's lend-lease program.
The trucks were produced in Canada in large numbers following the Allied withdrawal from Dunkirk after the BEF had been forced to leave most of their vehicles behind. The specification was versatile with C15A being used for a wide variety of truck variants including General Service vehicles, Personnel trucks, Signals trucks and Water Bowsers.
Over 400,000 were produced, many of which continued in civilian service after WWII.
