ICM-72193The Heinkel He 51 was a single-seat biplane that was produced in a number of different versions. Initially developed as a fighter, a seaplane variant and a ground-attack version were also developed. The first prototype named He 51a flew for the first time in the summer of 1933. By 1935, the German Luftwaffe began production of the He 51A-1 fighter.
