High and Fast Photo Reconnaissance

This reconnaissance variant of the Canberra bomber was the Royal Air Force's first purpose-built recon aircraft. It was designed to keep an eye on developments in East Germany and the Soviet Union during the Cold War era. The plane was able to exceed the service ceiling of most interception craft of the day and speed away on dual jet engines. Many countries fielded the Canberra and it remained in service with the RAF until 2006. Kit features structured surfaces, pilot figures and decal options for two RAF versions.
